Three Ways to Turn Your Wedding Photos Into Unique Home Décor

With your big day finally in the rear view mirror and you and your significant other settling into your new home, you may be wondering what you’re going to do with all of those excellent wedding pictures. Albums are a traditional route, but instead of letting your photos gather dust in the foreseeable future, why not repurpose them into attractive home décor? Here are few great ideas to get your creative juices flowing!

  1. Flower Vase

A wooden flower vase is the ideal vessel for this project, and it can be affixed to the side of the piece with just a touch of gloss glue and a foam brush. Simply apply glue to the back of the photo and attach it to the side of your choice, and then use gloss glue on the front of the picture on the front to finish the piece. Pay special attention to the corners of the photo as these can begin to curl over time.

  1. Magnets

This is an easy craft project that will let you and your significant other think back to your special day every time you step foot in the kitchen! Pick up a few white round magnets from your nearest craft store and cut out your pictures to the appropriate size. Place gloss glue on the front and back of the picture and let them dry. This can be a great add-in with your thank you letters if you’re thinking of sending a small gift to your wedding attendees.

  1. Design a Gallery Wall

Displaying your photos around your abode is always a great way to go, but make sure you give your arrangement a touch of decorative panache by arranging them in an art gallery format. Print out photos in varying sizes and put them in assorted frames and place them on your wall. This is a great way to get a little bit of everything to tell the story of your wedding day without having to resort to one or two large prints.
